Francine Montecinos

I am a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics of Columbia University, under the supervision of Sebastián Otero and Noémie Pinardon-Touati. My main interests lie between the fields of labor economics and public economics, with a current focus on the economics of education.

Before joining to Columbia, I was doing my Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Economics at University of Chile. I also worked as a research intern for the Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies, and the National Service for Consumer Protection.
